We spent 10 days in Curacao, Netherland Antilles for vacation in June. We snorkeled at many diff. spots including Grote Knip, Playa Kalki, Cas Abou, Daaibooibaai, Sunset Waters, Blauwbaai, Hooks Hut, Porto Mari. These are some of our underwater pictures. It was the first time using my sony cybershot and marine housing, but overall had a few good ones.

Great shots, Amanda. I took my first underwater pics in St. Maarten last year (borrowed camera from dive shop), but I had a ton more blue than showed up in your shots. Did you get that out in post processing, or did you adjust a setting on the camera? Got any more pics?

well i used my sony cybershot with the sony marine housing. i also purchased an additional filter which fits over the housing lens to filter out the blue in deeper water. but once we got home i did have to remove some blue from some of the pictures. but didnt alter them other than normal.

yeah they are actually very cool. saw quite a few that were covered in life and appear to be housing many fish. really nice to see them trying to help what may have been damaged and to help promote new life.

Love seeing the reef balls. We were on vacation south of Cancun about 7 years ago (Mayan Palace-wasn't quiite finished yet) and they were dropping concrete reef balls into the ocean along their coastline. I've been dying to go back and see how they've done since.
