I was hoping someone could help me identify this white patch just below my angels nares. I noticed it a few days ago, it looked like it disappeared the returned a couple weeks later. Angel is behaving normally, eating with vigor.

Looks like an infected post injury and should be treated with seachem kanaplex in a separate quarantine tank

I’d have thought that but the bump disappeared for 2 wks then returned the other day on the same exact spot.
My wife does the same thing. She heals and then reinjures herself over and over. Thankfully not on her face

LOL, my wife does also.
There is a little space in the rock work where she (the angelfish not my wife) try’s to shake off the male chasing her. Maybe scraped her face on the same rock in the same place.

Yeah, I often get blamed for my wife’s injuries, I just have to be near her when she gets injured and it’s likely going to be blamed on my presence. :thinking-face: :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Amen to that brother “why’d you have to put the trash can there” because it’s the widest area in the kitchen. “ why didn’t you move my phone charger cord” ahh man! If I didn’t love her so I tell ya…..

I can see spot clearer now on a larger screen but really need brighter white light to clearly tell as it may be previous damage not healing correctly. Seachem kanaplex which is broad spectrum should do the trick
