My tank is being cycled and my dry rock with the blue light on appears to have a light pink color growing onto the rock , not sure if this in fact coralline, ps the the camera won't pick up the pink color

How old is your tank, and what method are you using to cycle it?

No you don't have coralline in a brand new tank and fish in cycles are cruel to the animal and fries their gills. Do you even know what your ammonia level is?

If you really want to go down this road, there are a lot of people who would say our entire hobby is cruel…
Fish in cycles are the dinosaur fossil of the hobby. Modern bottle products make cycling a tank without a fish simple and efficient. Like I said some people care about their animals and others just want their reef tank and want it now and some fried gills isn't going to slow them down.
