I don’t know what brings out the gold vs red. Lighting? Flow? Feeding? Just gonna do what it wants to based on the parent?

This are some pics each with a few weeks in between

2 new torches, honestly forget how expensive the hammer game can get - I’m into my 4th and 5th torches and they’re both more than half of my hammers!
Possibly a Tiger Torch and an Ultra/Holy Grail (any ideas how to bring out more yellow in these guys?).

Now the big question what’s it going for?
$300 for the babies and $650 for the adult. It's probably 10 inches across. Absolutely beautiful in person. My wife really wants it haha.

I wish I could have a BTA in my tank... yours is beautiful!
I wish it didn’t choose that crack to sit in, it’s gorgeous when it’s out but currently it looks like a sea monster poking out the rocks :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Two Lithophyllon cf concinna, found at my LFS (first time seeing solitary Lithophyllon in captivity, or in person in general)

those lithos are in my 5 favorite corals all times (under daylight ). Where is your lfs? It’s been awesome seeing these imported again with Fiji back open. @Corals.com had some in February that were brown and pink. I remember I thought I would wait to not jump the gun. However, I have not seen more

My right side bommie in my 30 gallon. Top picture is 2 1/2 months ago and bottom was from the other day.

Can I love corals that aren’t my own too? (Yes). Here’s a pic of the Aquarium of the Pacific’s reef exhibit. More mature colonies, really bring out the incredible qualities of corals more than our frags do.

I love the Crocea Clams but they’re way too sensitive for my nano… so I guess I have to wait for a large Crocea and not the babies to appear.
