Coral identification

Hey guys and ladies. I need help identifying some coral. If you know what something is, please post it. Thank you in advance for any and all of your help.

I see candy canes, rhodactis, favia, alviapora/goniapora, zoas, chalices, acans. . .

It might help if you did these individually because this is a little overwhelming to ID. It looks like you have multiple pieces of one type just take a photo of one of each that you want ID'ed and post that.

Will do. I definitely didn’t intend to overwhelm anyone. I knew for the most part the type of coral but not its trade name. I’ll repost individual pics shortly.

Very few of those are going to have what I consider "accepted" trade names from what I see. I mean a vendor may give it "xyz" name when they chop it up, but vendor 2 will give it a completely different name. In many cases the same vendor gives it a different name the next time they chop up an import.

Understood. Didn’t want to start naming them myself and someone tell me it’s something different based on what they’ve seen before or possibly have.

The names vary it really comes down to who calls what more.
