I got this colony about 4 months ago and it's doing great. One of my (kinda) LFS really didn't have much help in ID on it but I fell in love at first sight and took it home. It has 3 babies coming off of the back of the plate. It has a thick mucus coat on the back as well beyond the flesh band. It looks like the cone shape was cut at the stem. Any help on this?

I’d say montipora
It's very fleshy and puffs up a couple of times a day. Not like an LPS but the polyps flatten out. I've got several types of Montys. I don't believe that's it. Someone said some name with a Spiral in the beginning of the name once. Still can't find it.

Shoot, strange one. Maybe some sort of leather. Glad it’s doing well for you.

I'm gonna go with green scroll coral. You guys set me on the path. It's Turbinaria from what I'm gathering. I can see how the scroll starts since it's popping new growths from the back in a half oval shape. The stem and deep cup were throwing me. I'm constantly getting detritus and hermit crabs out of there (NOT A CAVE!) That's awesome everyone. Thank you. I believe this Scooby Doo Mystery is solved.
