Ok thank you. So since this is a reef my understanding is take all fish out and treat them with a copper medication daily till gone. Then wait 8 weeks(not sure on time? for it to die out in the reef tank before putting them back in. Correct?
I don't have a qt but my lfs will rent out tanks if needed for holding that I can use for treatment

Also searching copper treatments polyp labs make Reef Safe Medic that they say is fine for corals and inverts and kills ich. Can't find much info from people using it though. Thoughts? Or would QT and copper be better

Zero proof of that ever working.

That includeds Ick-x, Super Ick fast rid, No-more Ick, and ick today gone tomorrow.

Stick to copper based and hypo, the tried and true method.

Those WORK.

Ich indeed. Not seeing other post but you want coppersafe which is a safe form and not cupramine. Using
coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off and with occupants exposed, they too should go into quarantine
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a tank from a second hand store or a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

Please refrain from cross posting which takes away from others who too are seeking help and answers to their issues

I'm going to respond with my opinion - great that your LFS rents out tanks - you should - if you can't do it yourself. In fact - it's a great business model. I'm sure (I can't read the other posts) - people have said - 30 days copper, followed by 2 prazipro 8 days apart. Reefsafe medic is likely not adequate. A fallow period - of 6-8 weeks is important
