considering a coral to place in inside the hollow of my deck or steam boat

I don't know if this was actually supposed to be a steamer but there's big hollow amidships toward the bow , i would like to put an LPS in there or a torch and let it grow from inside to out. I think would be pretty cool if it works, but I don't know if it is would be ideal if I put it down in the main hollow compartment maybe it's not gonna get much light but also i might manipulated the light somehow ;
maybe a torch?

Toadstool leather. The base/stump can go in there. Every day it will inflate and stand up like it’s coming out the boat.

I have pics of one I had…but it was several years old and large
Just picture it like this but smaller. Note how it’s at ground level in one pic, and standing in the other. It would be a pretty cool effect like it was growing out the ship. I stuggest this because it is a coral whose base does not require light, so you can take the plug or rock or whatever it comes attached to, and put in the ship, and when lights come on it will stand and point upwards towards the light source. Easy to care for and no special care or feeding needed. Low - medium flow
