It is month 7 of my foray into reefing. Thanks to lots of great advice and help from R2R friends, I’m happy to say that my tank is starting to mature nicely. I’ve acquired a number of corals, some of which I’ve attached to the aquascape but most are still on frag plugs or small pieces of rock. I’d like to enlist the wisdom of people who:

1)understand how my corals are likely to grow and interact with each other
2)have a good eye for planning aesthetically pleasing aquascapes
3)understand the lighting and flow requirements for the corals I’m working with

Some considerations:

1) I don’t want my GSP to get out of control so I plan to leave them on their islands
2) I can move my powerheads, but I prefer not to. However, if there is a good reason for moving them, I will
3) I can relocate corals that I have already attached to the aquascape but I prefer not to. However, if there is a good reason for moving them, I will.

My lighting is as follows:

These corals are already mounted:

These are the corals that need to be placed:

For simplicity, I’ve labeled various parts of my scape so it’s easy to refer to (see next pic). I estimate the flow and light of each number is as follows:

# Flow Light
1 Medium Low
2 High High
3 Medium Low
4 Medium Medium
5 High High
6 High High
7 High High
8 Medium Medium
9 Medium Medium
10 Low Low

So, what do you recommend?
