We have decided to liquidate some gear that we have been holding on to for a while. We intended to setup another large scale growing operation but we have finally accepted that we want to just keep focusing on chopping up plastic rather than coral. If you are a grower looking to expand, upgrade or get started we have some items you may be interested in.
First, the skimmers.
I have 2 of these:
They are 20" Diameter fiberglass skimmers with 15" cast acrylic collection cups. 8" neck. They hold 60 gallons each and are meant for long dwell commercial skimming applications. They are powered by brand new Reeflo Orca pumps that are recirculating and can process 30-40 gallons per minute. Footprint is roughly 48"x36" and they are 66" tall. The lids are pre-drilled to accept Swabbies.
Next, the grow out tubs.
I have (5x) 16'x4'x2' and (8x) 10'x6'x2' tubs.
This is a pic of the 16 footers.
This one has a single end overflow box glassed in. The return is a single bulkhead in the bottom at the other end.
The first 4 have 3 bulkheads in the bottom, in a line down the center. The end bulkheads are about 2' from the 4' end walls, and the middle one is centered. I used the end ones as surface skim drains and the center as the return. These are insulated on the sides & bottom so temp control is easier. They are inner dimension 16'x4', so sheets of eggcrate fit without needing cutting. ~870gal working capacity each (950 to the top).
Here is a pic of the 10x6's
There is an overflow weir at one end which is 6" wide by 6' long. 3" bulkhead drain in the bottom of the weir portion. 2" return bulkhead near the top corner on the far side of the tank. All have 2" foam core insulation on sides and bottom like the 16x4's.
Pricing:
Skimmers are $2500ea
16' tubs are $1200ea
10' tubs are $1000ea
If you have been shopping you will see we have these items priced to move quickly. We are planning to move the shop to a new location soon and don't want to move anything we don't plan to use. We are motivated, so if you want more than one item we can make a deal happen.
Shipping:
This depends on what you need but we can palatalize the skimmers and we have a loading dock, the tubs will not need to be palatalized. We also have extremely discounted freight options through our network of providers. Just as one example, we moved all of this gear from Florida to Virginia, it took every bit of a 55' long tractor trailer so it was full load door to door and $1800 total shipping. We are happy to quote and arrange shipping for you.
