I’ve been out of the Hobby for 4-5 years now and had an innovative marine NUVO 20 sitting around that was only used for half a year after upgrading from the 10g. I never could find a stand I liked for this tank so I decided to build one and start it up after we were finished moving.

I had finished the stand once I moved into my new house and never did anything with it for about another year. I still had a ton of old equipment, additives and testing equipment from my old red sea reefer 525xl that was still fairly good. also lots of equipment from 10g tank I had. lots of stuff I would never put on a tank this size if i didn’t already own it and have another tank to put it on.

Got all of my wiring done and started to cycle the tank! After about three weeks I got a diatom bloom and threw in the clowns I had got the same day as my rock. This is the tank as it stands now. Hopefully I can keep making updates and it comes along.

I am running filter floss and bio balls in both of the first chambers.
IM protein skimmer and IM media reactor with carbon in the second chambers.

Little 3-4 month update. Small tank crash after having a wire ground out in a junction box and lost power to the tank for 14 hours. Didn't lose any fish just some zoanthids, after about two weeks everything slowly stabled out. So far that's been the only hiccup. I've added a yellow clown goby and a chalk bass. I was thinking of adding another fish but cannot decide what to add.
