Club-Zoa Christmas Toy Drive

Last year we raised over $1600 I believe for toys for needy families. This year one of our members here at CZ lost her 12 year old niece in a tragic accident and I think we should raise some money in her honor for her family during this holiday season.

With permission from weetabix (her aunt) we will be raising money to help out the family during this trying time. The family could really use this money and what better way too spread the meaning Christmas by giving to this family. Ashley had 2 brothers and 2 sisters and with the funeral expenses, the holidays, caring for a premature baby and other things this family is financially strapped and could use our help.

Every cent of this money will be given to the family. All donations will be made through my church's paypal and therefore all who give will receive a tax donation receipt (if wanted) that can be used come tax time since we are a non profit. This is how we did it last year.
The paypal address is [email protected]. Also donations can be made via check or money order. PM me for the address. Please include your member name on the notes of your paypal gift. Also everyone who gives $25 or more will be given premium membership for a year here and will be entitled to all the benefits. We will be having a giveaway very soon.

The deadline will be Sunday Dec 16th. That will give us a couple business days to transfer the money over and a couple days to get the funds in the bank. That should leave a couple more days to shop...

Ashley and her parents are from our neighboring community, and I couldn't think of a better donation to give during this time of year. Donation sent, Merry Christmas to all, but I'm just sorry it couldn't be merrier for Ashley's family.

Thanks to everyone so far for trying to get funds together or for donating already. This is going to be very tough for this family, but maybe we can ease the pain just a very little bit financially. If we can do that it will be worth it.
