Is this Button Scoly done for?
I just moved it. It was next to the other Scolys when I noticed one of my clownfish nipping it
Can a dead Scoly crash the tank?

Parameters -
nitrate - 8.5
Phosphates - .07
Ammonia - 0
Salinity - 1.026

Torches, sps, other corals are fine

It unusual for a Clown to nibble on a Coral however all fish are different.

The Scoly will recover if you give it low flow in a sheltered place.
If it were to die it it does not release any toxins, just decays.

Are you sure it was not getting too much flow on one side?

Thanks for the reply. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t too much flow. It was maybe an inch away from the other button Scoly. I tucked it away in a corner of my tank with less light since the a rock structure shadows it. I’ll monitor it but so far it’s showing more Skelton
