I have the 37mg/mL Formaldehyde, 0.32mg/mL Malachite green formula. Ihad them in the display tank, then I gave them a 60 minute bath then transferred them to a quarantine, did I miss a step - put them into quarantine too early? thank you i will use that concentration for the qt tank treatment
Ugh - the malachite green changes everything, it is toxic to fish in continued doses. What does the label say about using this product in the tank itself?

It says to use 5ml per 20 litres of tank water, and for a bath it is 0.25ml per litre. Thanks for your help, had no idea malachite green was toxic.

Malachite green is weird - it builds up in fish. So, the dose may not be toxic for one or two treatments, but then may harm the fish after treatments 3 or 4. Also, different species of fish have different tolerances to it.

I stopped using malachite green in marine aquariums due to all the issues I had. I still use it sometimes to treat FW ich.
