Literally obsessed with this little guy. He's so funny!

Anyway how do I get my clowns to actually host this huge LTA i have. Is it too big for them or what? (LTA in pic behind Goni and Red Xenia) IMG_6133.png

Ah, this is a frustrating issue. I've tried to encourage my clowns to show interest in my BTA for a while, but I've had no luck so far. What kind of clowns? Some clowns are more likely to host some anemones vs others.

Some advice I'd received was putting the anemone in an acclimation box with the clowns to encourage proximity or putting a printed picture or mirror against the tank. I haven't had luck with any methods so far, but lots of people have had great experiances with these. Definitely worth a shot. At the end of the day, clowns are gonna do what clowns do, and clowns don't care what we want. :face-with-tears-of-joy: Good luck!

they are a bonded pair of Storm Ocellaris Clowns and my nem is a "White" Long Tentacle. LFS had the nem for sale as such but i just think they bleached it as it has slowly been getting its tan coloring back as i nurse it to health.

Maybe the bleaching affected the nematocysts to a point where the clowns have no interest until it is 100%?

i cant think

You may be right, LFS had it for sale as a Florida Caribbean Goniopora :thinking-face: but idk. It's "skeleton" is very goni like
Definitely an Alveopora - you can count the tentacles.
Try count the tentacles on this big guy!
