Hello all !

My tanks has been cycled for about a month now. I got 2 little clownfish to start. Once they got comfortable, they started to eat pellets about 2-3 times a day with no issues. I tried spiraling mysis shrimp but they always spit it out . Guessing they don't like the algae in it.

But since I introduced pods into the tank, my clowns don't even eat the pellets anymore. I see them picking at the pods one in a while so not sure if their just full from that.

My question is are podss enough for the fish or i should be worried?

Thanks :)

I'd be bored too with just pellets, and veggie shrimps? yuk, my fish don't like it much either.

Get some reef frenzy, and frozen mysis and frozen brine, and hatch your own live baby brine shrimp, its super easy and the clowns love it, and its fun to watch them eat it.

When you say "picking at the pods" sounds like you are not sure they are eating? I would double check all of your parameters. Don't use API test kits. Are you making your own RODI water?Consider having parameters double checked by your LFS. If you can purchase some live brine shrimp, see if they will go for that. If they are not eating at all, something is wrong.

Correct im not sure if their eating them. But can confirm they stopped eating the pellets the day after introducing the pods. I use salifert test kits for amonia, ph, nitrite, nitrates and everything is in line. I make my own rodi water .

They get exited everytime i put food in but they just bite and spit it out .

I don't think my lfs has live brine, can I sue frozen ?

Can you please post some white light photos and a short video of the fish? Not eating can be signs of a serious issue. Especially if they were eating the same thing before.

Yes, of course. I would post a video in white light here for the medics if they are not eating at all.

This is the error message that I get when I try to upload the video.

In the video I fed them spirulina mysis shrimp and they attack it right away but then spit it out

Uploading to YouTube can solve the issue.
