Just as the title states, I picked up 2 used 55 Gallon Drums that held Redwine Vinegar. What would be the best way to clean them so they are safe to use for RODI and Saltwater Storage? I dont use Brute Trashcans anymore because I have had 2 leak on me in the past.

They are plastic correct? I just read “drums” and think metal right off the bat. I had to ask.

I’d just give an ro/di rinse. They will still smell of vinegar, but that is soaked into the plastic, not on top of it, and will slowly be released and is no big deal, IMO,
