A kind friend gave me some frags from his tank. He has a large tank with 3x sump volume...very different from my biocube32. What he called 'bomb-proof' I'm afraid will not do quite as well in my tank. And he said a lot of things so I didn't fully catch all the names. So I'm hoping for identification help/confirmation, any specific care requirements, and any advice on whether I need to move things around.
#1: overview of the tank
2: zoas with a soft coral, looks like maybe devils hand?
3: frogspawn, was giant in his tank. The bottom left ones that are partially retracted had the cut go vertically through the whole polyp. Are those ones done for? Need removal to prevent decaying carcass problems?
4: not sure what he said it was, but looking at other corals maybe a chalice?
5: some sort of acropora? The polyps don't seem to be coming out much.
6: plate coral. Gets probably the most flow based on my power head placement lowish in the back left corner blowing across the back
7: some sort of acropora? Told you I'm new at this... Has some white areas etc, do I need to be concerned?
Thanks in advance for any input/advice!
