I kind of cheat... I'm just using a regular webcam that's mounted to one of my monitors in my office that is angled near the tank. I just remote into that computer and turn the camera on to view it. This is the camera I use.

I have fishkam. It's 30 bucks on amazon. Has color and night vision and you can look at it on your phone
