Setting up a new 100EXT and just filling it. As I reach the outlets water is flowing back into sump (nothing powered up yet)
I am wondering if I should stop and install a check valve. I am probably going to turn off the valves and see how much water I can add now that the water line is just below the outlets. I am guessing in the range of 15 gallons. If the pump went out or power outage I'm concerned the backlog would overflow the sump.
Wondering if anyone with an Innovative Marine has measured this out before? I see mixed answers on whether or not to use a check valve when I searched the forum. It seems like a it should be a standard safety option to me.
Wher e is the best place to buy plumbing?
I suppose I can go get something at home depot, but not sure.
Thanks, I appreciate any wisdom and input.
