Sorry for the dumb question, do you put this in the sump/filter or just drop it in the aquarium?
Put it in your refugium, not in the display tank. The refugium will get full of pods and will feed the display. The purpose of the Chaeto is to grow and use up nitrates and phosphates so you don’t have to do as many water changes to keep your levels down enough for corals to thrive.
