Alright so long long long over due update.

Long story short there was a 3 day power outage back in mid December anyways our generator was broken and unfortunately lost most of my coral and lost the yasha to the outage. I was absolutely devastated as I worked really hard on this tank and seeing it crash and burn broke my heart. I floated hot water bottles and had an aerator going so I did manage to save more than I thought.

This was the aftermath after the power came back on. I lost all the sps my fat sticks the one I was the most upset about. I lost my gonis I did save one alveolar and most of the lps made it. I did loose a couple favias and I had an amazing recovery of the war coral and the dragons soul favia. My first acans looked like crap. Well my husband and I were already setting up the 75 gallon and decided to move everyone into the 75 so it would be more stable and would help with recovery. Every looks absolutely stunning again and have made a full recovery ❤️ my gramma is enjoying the new caves and still swims all around the whole tank like he did in the evo.

Here are some of the survivors as you can see everyone has grown quite a bit my original acans went from 4 polyps to that giant ball in the center! My blasto has gain some heads and my candy cane has exploded with growth! I couldn't be happier! Well now I had an empty evo. Well it happens I went to the fish store for my husband to get him these red cardinals (which I never see them in the 75 and there are 4!) When I stumbled upon a pair of clowns I had to have. Now the 75 already had a pair of clarki clowns. That is how the evo got revived!

Now I moved the location of my evo to my bedroom and I was so excited to add my beautiful clowns! I got everything set tank looks great! I got a pair of firefish and everything was going well and then I notice my prized clowns had brook . That was all my fault I should have quarantined the firefish. Well the clowns and firefish got treated and tank left fallow. I finally just moved the fish back in after a nice long fallow period and let me tell you I totally slacked while the fish were out. So the tank doesn't look the best but here is the current tank we are working with.

I am going to do one more good water change and we should be back on track. It is going through the ugly stage right now but I am super excited for this tank. I have decided to stick with lps and softies for this tank I want to do a beautiful acan garden and zoa rock. I think it would look nice.

I know it was a big update and I felt like I wrote a book lol!

Good work! I know it's not easy to push through the more challenging parts and seeing your tank crash is so hard. It looks great now, like it's bouncing back nicely!

Some pictures I just did a water change so a little cloudy still. I moved the brain coral to the left rock I think it will look nicer there I am debating moving my one mushroom lower as there has been no new growth just been stagnant. My cyphastrea I mounted to the black filter wall is growing nicely it has spread quite a bit onto the plastic! Clowns look fab as always and fire fish look like they have separate holes now.

Quick pictures from today just did a water change so it is a little cloudy but the dinos are almost all gone now and my clowns are growing nicely I did move one firefish out and into a different tank. The one that stayed in this tank is very shy compared to all my other firefish that are extremely bold and out and about all day. Anyways here are some pics!
(You can see some debris got caught on the gorg )

So quick update!
We ended up moving some more coral into this tank after some issues in the 47 gallon. The 47 had some dinos start up and some of the corals that were in there were having a hard time. We moved the ones that were struggling and not gonna lie I am excited for them to be in here!
We also moved our alveopora that was in the 75 in here as the conch snails kept smacking it around and last time they smacked it into a hammer coral so there was some damage from that.
Otherwise they all look pretty good besides the green goni hasn't really come out too much and the frogspawn isn't too happy yet. I will let them settle in and see how they do

Quick update before tank maintenance. So over the last week I have added in 2 sea lettuce (I have always wanted them), 2 pygmy cucumbers my husband surprised me with and 1 turbo snail who is most likely going to be a temporary member until we get the hair algae gone. I also added some frags from my other tanks and rearranged a little bit in here. My fish are all doing great so far and most of the coral seems happy. Anyways here are some pictures!

Did a water change today and cleaned up the glass looking good so far I added a frag of blue lagoon zoas. I also moved some rock flowers over to my tank as they were not happy in the 47 gallon. They are a lot happier in here and look great. My one favia that I tried to save from the 47 isn't doing to well we will see if is comes around but I don't have high hopes. The pygmy cucumbers look great and have their filter feeders out almost all day. The sea lettuce are always flying around the tank snacking on algae.

So some fun news my red leg hermits are spawing in the tank. Last night I was looking in the tank with my phones flashlight and noticed a ton of tiny little shrimp things swimming everywhere. I called my husband over and have him look and we figure out it is hermit crab larvae. Well tonight after the lights go out I again looked into the tank and actually caught one of the girls releasing her larvae into the water. Was really cool to watch and hey free food for the rest of the tank.

Long time no post. So I added some more coral I added in another acan, a Duncan, an aussie candy cane, another blasto, another platy, and some zoas. I also previously added in a coco worm that I got for a good deal! Only $30! Everything else is doing well in the tank it is finally settling down well and the coralline is starting to grow more than the couple spots it was. My husband also has phyto growing well now so are able to dose phytoplankton way more often than before and I have noticed better growth with the corals. Anyways here are some pics!

Just got a water change done and dosed phyto. Went a little heavy on the phyto but I have the 2 pygmy sea cucumbers, the coco and feather duster worm all filter feeding along with all the coral so want to make sure everyone gets plenty of food! Plus it helps that my husband's phyto farm is very productive. Anyways here are 2 murky photos!

So quick update:

I was out shopping with the hubby and went to a store we haven't been to in a very long time on the hunt for green banded gobies. Well I didn't find any green banded gobies but I did find a beautiful frag of clove polyps for $30. Now I had just sworn off clove polyps but darn it I love them and I promise this is my last try with them. The last 2 times I have tried they were shipped to the house so not sure if that had anything to do with it. Anyways they were all open and looked great when I got home from work today so fingers crossed! I took out the one rock that had the toadstool and Kenya trees on it and put it in our seahorse tank as I was worried about the toxins and the acro piece I put in. Plus I really needed room for my clove polyps. I kind of miss the rock I might add a piece of dry rock to hel balance it but now I can see my cyphatsrea a lot better so I will probably keep it as it is. Anyways here are a couple pics

Got a cool picture of my mushroom today. Looks like he is in the middle of splitting so I am super excited for that! I was excited to see a cute mini red feather duster growing on the frag plug as well so that was a cool find. My one rock flower has been moving around the tank as of late and was at the front and was able to get a nice picture of that.

In other news went fish store hopping today for my hubby's birthday and we found a Brunns cleaner shrimp. It was an awesome find as we have been looking for a couple almost a year now. Unfortunately the store only had the one but at least we have one now. Also threw in a ruby red scooter. We are going to see how it does. If worst comes to worst we will move it to one of our big tanks. Hoping to get it trained on frozen quickly.
