Something to consider, and definitely a recommendation in my book for the time. I have had mind one my 29 gal for about a month or so and am extremely happy with it. Prior I had 2 Kessil A360we but did not like the light bleed, nor the look. Switching to Glowrium, I am using half the wattage, matching the par, and getting way better spread. No shimmer, but I guess thats the trade off.

Has anyone else used this product? It has in app control of the light channels, can edit each section for different intensities, and even has in app support. Which is quite reliable! Also the temp monitor is nice with active notification for temp fluctuations.

Am I the only one who is running these? What is your experience? For $100 on amazon prime, I find these to be a steal!

Even got one for my 20 long frag project, to be set up.

They come in many sizes, i believe up to 60" coverage. and all the down to 18".

What settings in intensity were you running the Kessils? And what were you PAR Redding Kessil VS the new light?

I am thinking about adding too or replacing my Kessils (a180 X2 over a Fluval 32.5)

This is the first I've heard of them, but they look interesting. Kind of like a Fluval Marine 3.0 for less money.

Is there a breakdown anywhere of how many of each color LED they have? Looks like they have a pretty decent (i.e. wide) blue band, I'm just curious how the diode count breaks down.

Honestly, that light looks pretty cool. Wifi and Bluetooth, Built in temperature probe, sunrise/sunset, supposedly spectrum down to 395, and pretty decent reported par #'s.

I was getting around 300 par reading on a seneye v6 in the area above the montipora. i believe around 100-125 on the sandbed. That was 2 kessil a360we on 65% intensity and I believe 40% color. I prefer blues.

I am getting the same readings with this light, using half the wattage. or less. See these setting in app. Just FYI, the green is actually the teal channel, I contacted support and they may update in the future. Doesnt bug me. I think what I love the most, is I dont need a separate controller to make a schedule.

Yeah, I wish I could verify the UV spectrum, but the seneye picks up the sprectrum and iirc, PUR was around 75-80% which is similar with most led light. So it has a solid range.

IMO I think they are better than Fluval, but I have only have one of their lights and ended up selling it. I think it lacked UV but dont quote me on that. Regarding LED count, it looks like 84 leds per module. If my counting is right, 35 Mixed Blue, 14 Cyan, 14 White, 7 UV, 7 Red, 7 Violet. Base unit comes with a single module and I think they add one for each size up to 60" which has 5 modules if my reporting is accurate. I use the 30-36" module on my 29g reef and 20 Long. It has 3 modules. My old one maybe needs an update, idk why it shows 4 modules on the app lol. But you can control each one separately if youd like.

Same! I would really like to see brands like this become successful and a staple in the hobby.

1) Accessibility - easier entry for a NEW light
2) We need companies to survive in order to bring improvements and software compatibility (with phone app upgrades)
3) Since LED are known to have longevity (5+ years), success could lead to more innovation. Perhaps Pico lights or even larger modules. or slimmer / lighter. maybe even more energy efficiency.

I just hope for the best, I dont want this to be a case of needing to buy an old phone to use an old app and that become the controller xD or unable to login to access ligjt because server cant be maintained. At that point, i may need to call out some techys to help with a workaround lol.

How should I search Amazon to find this light? The link just takes me to an Amazon home page and if I search growrium I get a ton of lights but none that look like this. I'm considering trying one as supplemental lighting running front to back on a 84x30x25" tank so maybe a 30" would fit?

Try searching: Glowrium salt water or Glowrium reef

I need something slim for a long cold water reef tank and will consider this one. The tank does not need much light regardless.

Someone who I trust implicitly has ordered one to test. He has access to lab level spectrometer(s), PAR meters, etc, and spent his own money on the light, so I look forward to hearing what he thinks.

Is it telegraham?

Very interesting. Im looking at all options for my display fuge. I know you can use cheap bulbs. But say i run 2 atlas at 240wt and 2 helix a basic light bulb will not out compete main tank! So my options so far
1- this light. They have a freshwater verson which would be great for a 24"x18"x12" fuge. 60wt
2- popbloom almost identical to this light 60wt
PopBloom 60 Watts Aquarium LED Reef Light, Dimmable Full Spectrum Marine LED for 60CM 24inch Saltwater Coral Fish Tanks (Shannon 54) https://a.co/d/bQznYTh
3- Noopsyche mini 60w or k3(over kill) but one heck of a light for 180$
4- Htg 2 bulb high output t5 fixture.
This looks like a great light for the price will look out for par results!
