do you mean the little tubes? They look like they might be tunicate worms, I wouldn't worry about it unless it's given you a reason to be concerned

bro... those are vermited snails. They kind of suck. You seem to have quite a lot of them. Bumblebee snails are supposed to eat them, but that won't remove their hard tubes. The only real way ive found is scraping them off. Do some research on them, they are filter feeders, and there are ways to limit their reproduction.

Thank you so much, i was thinking this at first with the bit of research i did so thought let me post on here as i am still new to this and have a setup i purchased from someone else so it came with this on the rocks. I did read up about the bumblebee snails as well and guess i will need to as you recommend crape them off the rock to remove them

I had those when I got my old tank from someone and he had those all over the rocks! I ended up letting the rock dry out and kill them off and then re cycled the rock and didnt see any new ones popping up

Just be careful breaking them off if you do it by hand. Those little suckers are tough, and will most certainly poke a hole in your finger if you aren't careful. Don't ask how I know.

Coral Snow. Stir up the detritus in the tank causing the snails to extend for feeding. Drop in Coral Snow. It will clog the tubes killing the snails. Remove mechanical filtration for a few hours.
