While it represents a cyst, it is an infection from either a puncture wound or injury and should be treated before it worsens. Slow to act would be Ruby rally pro while more effective in a separate tank would be Seachem neoplex or kanaplex with added aeration

What other fish are in this tank?
How long has it had the spot?
Is the spot growing larger over time?

Thanks. Any advice to set up a qt tank for the medication. I don't have a qt tank so I would need to buy whatever is needed.

A starter kit from walmart has most of the essentials otherwise tank, Seeded sponge with bacteria, air stone and pump, heater and even a hang on filter with carbon removed from cartridge

2 clowns
1 yellow clown goby
1 purple firefish

I just noticed the spot so I cant answer

Is it two clowns including this one, or three total? I'm sort of leaning towards this being a bite injury, maybe infected, but perhaps not. Clowns can be very sly, they play nice when you are watching them - there is little chance that you would actually see a bite take place.
