Was offered this brand new 220 peninsula. The issue is it has a chip on the bottom corner. I was wondering if I euro braced the bottom with a 1” euro brace would that be sufficient? It does seem to go through the silicone but the 1” glass euro brace it would be covered.

I wouldn't risk it. Better off buying a different tank
*The chip itself might not be problematic but the fact that the bottom corner of a 200 gallon tank was compromised at all would make me say nope

If there are no cracks extending into the glass that might grow and you can cover the chip area completely with a brace, it should be OK. I would definitely test it with water for an extended time outside the house, but I have done similar repairs to damaged tanks.
