Can I use an XR30 bracket to mount an accessory light bar?

I have a pair of XR15s held up with RMS tank mounts. I’m looking to add accessory light bars - would using the rms multi light mount and adding a pair of XR30 brackets be an acceptable way to string up the light bars? I’m thinking I would use something like zip ties to connect the bars to the bracket.

If you get the RMS rail and connect that to a pair of RMS mounts, yes - that would give you significantly more structural support.

I think you may want something more substantial than zip ties. What are the supplemental lights you plan to add?

Nice. I am interested in purchasing one of these.

The light i am trying to hang in an AliExpress Popular grow bar so I would have to rig it. Is there an approximate weight these are meant for? from personal experience do you think i would have to use the multi light mount rather than back of tank or do you think the glass/mounts can support it with the back of tank?

Woohoo! Any issues with the weight on your
Glass?

Trying to decide if I want to switch to the multi light mount to hold the two radions and two bars or just have it all on the back glass.

No issues with weight, the popular grow LED bars are not that heavy. I had it up for close to a year before replacing it with a Kessil ap9x and then XR30 pro. I just love tinkering with stuff too much. Haha

The Radion mounts usually are tilted forward once setup (none of mine were perfectly level). I cut up some zip ties and used it as a spacer on the inside of the mount to level it. A multi light mount will eliminate this issue (hopefully).

Thank you. One more queastion - do you need a nut or something to actually get the screws to fasten into the ali express bar?
