My 210gal tank crashed while my family and I are away having good time on the other side of the world for a month or so vacation. Three weeks on our vacation the ATO stopped working and from then on the tank slowly died (plus the CA summer weather). When we got home all I have is a stinky soup of soft corals and fish (mostly tangs). Anyway, since I have already fix the tank and have been running good, I am rebooting it as FOWLR. I was thinking of having the following fish (that is if it os possible to mix):

Yellow Tang
Purple Tang
Scopas Tang
Convict Tang (?)
Regal Angelfish
Raccoon Butterflyfish or something else

Plus our usual wrasse.

I don’t have experience with Regal and Raccoon, so I would like to know if I can mix them together with the tangs?

Please help me re-building my tank inhabitants.

Looks fine with the size of the tank. Might have issues with the purple, yellow, and scopas, so maybe add last and together. Regals are shy and take a while to get feeding and comfortable. Probably get that fish first and when its eating introduce the convict (also a shyer fish) then the butterfly and the zebrasomas last. Thats how I would do it if it were my tank

Thank you, I actually thinking of getting the Regal first and have it settled. Will follow your plan to make sure there’ll be no much problem in the introductions of livestocks.

Are you going to do a wild caught regal?

I'd personally add the regal angel and the Raccoon at the same time, they'll help one another feel more at ease and teach each other to feed more readily. Functioning as dithers for one another. Get them established well, then add the tang gang at once. Add the wrasses and other small fish before the tangs as well.

Not sure yet. If I find a healthy one from LFS, I might. If not will wait for the Biota regals.
I got my regal from WWC, she came very healthy and ate after 3 days. They love clams on the half shell
