It’s a troll account lolProbably just scared.. I would think the water would dampen the sound traveling through. I am sure any animal can go deaf but not from that.

Fish don’t have ears like mammals do. They do have neuromasts in their lateral line that they use to sense vibration. A single loud sound won’t damage those, but chronic sound and some diseases can.I have also learned that fish can regenerate hair cells for hearing so its probably not going to hurt them. Please do correct me if I’m wrong.
