Hmmmm that's a very valid concern that didn't even cross my mind... ;Facepalmhi ,i would worry about on off ,of skimmer pump ,just my opinion, would not do,shorten life of skimmer pump, even the dc models that have feed mode
Thats wild. My urchin hasn't tried to pick anything up yet.I keep talking about 3D printing a hat for my urchin but I'm a giant slacker and haven't yet.... I go to tend the tank this morning and looks like he found himself a toupee.... My poor feather duster is just along for the ride.
Lights are just starting to ramp up so it's dim
Actually he's doing pretty well so far. Day 1 zero interest, day 2 faint interest but everyone spooked him. Today, grabbed a couple pieces - not enough for me to be completely satisfied but we're making progress.Tank is coming along nicely. Love the stand! Was it hard to get the marine beta eating? I herd they can be tricky
might want to gently try to remove, may cause duster to lose head, wound norm regrow ,but give a try
In your nano you talked about rfas in the big build. Can we have some pics?
I've never seen a gold rimmed rfa thats gorgousOkay, I've got a couple photos of this group: there's actually 5 over there now, the newest is "white" but seems kinda greyish so far and has only been in the tank for about a week so I have no photos of it yet.
This one still lives on the back side of the rockwork and is a pain to photograph.
Theres another group of 3-4 that I apparently don't have a good photo of already - that's where I saw one spawning. Then another 2 that are scattered into random parts of the tank I can barely access.
I'll try tomorrow!
Thanks! In bluer light its more of an orange, but I honestly prefer the whiter appearance on most of the corals in this tank.I've never seen a gold rimmed rfa thats gorgous
now were gonna need a FTS..Thanks! In bluer light its more of an orange, but I honestly prefer the whiter appearance on most of the corals in this tank.
I like both. Day its a brighter white at night from 2200-2300 all blue. Best of both worlds plus my fish color pop in the white. Thanks! In bluer light its more of an orange, but I honestly prefer the whiter appearance on most of the corals in this tank.

Another softy lover i love itLast week. Some of my zoas were throwing a fit about something, I don't recall what the problem was that day - I think the harlequin was stomping around? I might have a problem with buying too many gorgs....
