WARNING : There will be alot of different Questions!
1. Is a 40 Gallon breeder generally bigger in dimensions than a 60 gallon cube? I heard 55 gallon tank being smaller than 40 gallons in some way. and would it be okay to keep a Kole Tang on the 40 gallon breeder? I heard the 60 gallon cube being a nice home for an Adult Kole Tang
2. Im planning on changing my current 15 Gallon Fluval Flex to a reef tank, as the equipment needed will be needed for the 40 gallon or any higher tanks anyway so im planning to start a bit smaller and see how it is before going further. Would i need to really deep clean the tank? would it be harmful if i left any calcium or like some weird gunk in the pumps? I cant seem to find anything to go into the pump im using and i cant take out whatever is in there. If it will be harmful then ill be sure to clean everything before buying any equipment
3. Im planning to keep LPS and Softies like Green Star Polyps, Hammers, Etc. My stocking options will be a pair of Clownfish and 1 Fire fish, is that stocking list good and if anyone would be kind enough to answer, can i know the exact Parameters for everything to get a stable reef tank? (If u dont answer its no problem, this should be apart of what i should know anyways)
4. Is a Chiller or a Heater better? I live around Malaysia and people here use chillers but when i watch videos i see people telling me to buy Heaters.
I might start reefing in a month or 2, and im trying my best to know everything i can so that the reef tank wont have any failures. I dont really check on the parameters for my freshwater tank atm, all i do is a 30-50% water change around every 2-3 weeks when i see Algae and all my fish are thriving. Do let me know if u have any Tips! Thank you!
