I got a green bubble tip anemone 3 weeks ago and it seems ok but only has ever had 1/2 of its foot attached to the rock. For the first week it was hiding under a rock but I could see it wasn’t well attached. Just kinda wondering if anyone else has seen this? I’ve had anemones before and none of them ever had issues attaching the whole foot. First image is view of it from behind, my phone would not focus well but I cant see any injury. Could a previous injury explain it? Just curious, over all it seems fine. I haven’t tried to feed it but when lights are on it expands quite a bit more than it is in the photos. I took pics in morning before lights on because it’s easier to see the foot before it expands. Oh, and the foot does NOT feel sticky on the part that isn’t attached.

I think you are over-analyzing. It looks very happy and found an ideal spot in that crevice. It could be getting ready to split, or just comfortable that way, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.

just give it time it will either move or attach fully or it just likes being in that position! BTA's are very silly
