Your vivid rainbow looks good. I snagged one in the fraghouse sale to see if I could color it up.
You always hear how hard they are to color up. It seems like it is taking forever to get what color I do have, but it seems to be heading in the right direction. When I see colony pics of the vivid rainbow I am always blown away by how nice it looks.

I know I posted an actinic pic of the Bubblebath unicorn last month but my god, when I look at it each day I feel like it is getting better and better. It has some nice blue and purple in the base with yellow tips. This thing is gonna be a stunner.

I got some new frags in a couple days ago and wanted to share. During WWC last live sale they told me they would have their WWC Pink Panther up for sale but never did, so I was pretty bummed. I buy a lot of my "high end" stuff from Reinaldo at Pirates reef and he happened to share a picture of his colony. I reached out to him to grab a frag and figured I might as well grab a few more.

WWC After party. I am pretty excited about this one, even though the base near the bottom isn't so great yet. The base near the bottom has this purple/brown color right now. I want to see how this one progresses.

RMF Psychoberry. If this turns out anything like the pics you see on Google I will be happy.

So jealous you get buy from Reinaldo!! His stuff is insane!! :D

The new pickups are gorgeous mate and I'm sure they're only going to get better!!
Thanks! Reinaldo’s stuff is nice but the thing I like most is the pic he shows of the frag is exactly how it looks when you get it. I’ve never bought something from him and thought “this ain’t what the pic looked like”.

That's about all you can ask for from a vendor!

I avidly follow his facebook page as the pics are always as nice as the acros! haha

I was just in front of his tanks a few weeks ago and I can tell you all his corals look as good or even better than the pictures. His tanks leave me star struck every time! I picked up a confetti and op while I was there because after seeing the tanks you can’t leave empty handed

I am not sure how many people are following along with the grow out contest that is happening over in the Battlecorals thread. The contest involves growing out the Vivids rainbow delight and is to last 6 months. We have about a month left in the contest but I figured I would share my progress in my own thread. When I first got the frag it was brown and didn't look very good. I am happy to see how it has progressed over time.

I wish mine had cokor like yours. Growth has been great, color is still very similar to the original flesh color, except with some green here and there.

I am using an Ocean Revive t247 and it is getting about 450 par. Nitrates had been about 5 for the longest time. Turned my biopellets off recently because I tested nitrates at <.5 (I don't usually test but maybe every couples month). Still have not been able to get them back up to five. Phosphates are running between .17-.19. I wonder if the lack of color is because my nitrates are so low.

I’ve never used that fixture so I’m not much help there. Your phosphate does seem a little high. If it was my tank, I’d get no3 up a bit and po4 down. Getting nitrate up should help bring down po4.
