I've seen this question asked a few times, but the answer seems to be a mystery in all those old threads. Do we know any more yet? Why did this thing have bubbles once but no longer? It seems happy enough, and its growth has been quite astounding. But no sign of any bubbles.

Fair enough. I just worry sometimes, with this thing waving and thrashing around like a plate of angry spaghetti, that my fish might get stung.

You have to use reverse psychology on anemones because they always do the opposite of what you want. Instead of wanting to see bubbles, pretend that you hate bubbles and are glad that it's got skinny tentacles. I'm sure the bubbles will appear in no time!

My BTAs ALL started out with bubbles. Now they all look like yours. I figured it was flow, but it looks like someone has already debunked that theory.

I have 2 very large BTAs. For months they both had huge bubble tips. Loved it. Now they look like the angry waving spaghetti you mentioned.

BTAs are like moody teenagers. One way one moment, and another the next.
