No, everyone pays their own shipping. Basically the only perc is that you get the discounted price on a bunch of stuff. I usually get in on every one that I can since you never know when you will need something.

they ship directly to your house.... After you partcipate in 1 group buy, you will get discounted prices from them, jut not as much of a discount as you would when your in a group buy.
