I tried to add them at one point. My 6-line made short work of them, I'm guessing. She's a beast! Lots of babies in my tank too.
I dose it via a pump, 1.4L per day. My pH swings between 8.1 and 8.3, maybe a bit higher. So you dose kalk as well? Is that a set amount daily or only off of your evaporation?
What’s your average PH?
I did have a them in the first few months but none in quite awhile. So I'm guessing you haven't had dino issues?
I do not, but that is a fantastic idea!Do you have a filter tip on the end of the sample line?
I have the KHG and use a stihl chainsaw fuel filter (all plastic) on mine so it doesn’t collect any nasties
I fill it roughly every two weeks and it's 33% full right now. When’s the last time you put kalk in your container?
Send them to me! I will send you an overnight shipping container!..jkThis is getting nuts. I have increased my dosing to 360ml of each 2 part. It may not be enough. If it wasn't for the fact my dosing containers are draining so quickly I'd think my calibrations are off. I just recalibrated them a month or so ago, and if anything the containers are draining faster than the calculated value so I may be dosing even more than this.
My monti caps have got to be using most of it, although I have a few staghorns and other acros that are beginning to grow very quickly. Instead of increasing my dosing further I may start cutting back corals instead. I could remove half of my orange and green monti's and it would hardly make a difference to how my tank looks.
I cant believe the growth on the shelf... #goalsFear is a great motivator. Here are some FTS's. The lighting color was already changing to blue but I tried to get it corrected.
It's on order!!!**cough** CaRx **cough**
Me either. I should climb in there and take some top down photos. Actually growth on almost every SPS in the tank is going nuts. My hammer corals are doing well, too. My zoas are struggling but I'm happy to be SPS dominant.I cant believe the growth on the shelf... #goals
