Awesome. If you have time you should add this to the R2R PAR Database.

I’ve been largely unhappy with video uploads to YouTube. Someone told me Vimeo is better. I agree it is marginally better. Here’s a few videos. Excuse the toddler voices in the daylight ones. And for those who wonder what a brush motor masterflex sounds like. Look no further than the video under blues. And that sound is from inside a closed cabinet

Well. Been a while since this happened! Fish death! This azure damsel was AT LEAST 13 years old. 8 years in my care. A friend had it 5 years prior to me. And seeing as he didn’t hatch it himself. It was likely older.

Not sure what did it in. It was acting spunky and normal when I got home today. Had a big gash on his side. With some missing scales. Could have been post mort though from rock work. No condolences necessary for me. As I feel like a 13+ year old fish is a rare win in this hobby. They all gotta go eventually. I’ll replace it with a talbot damsel as I’ve always wanted one but they’re the same genus so I couldn’t have both.

My daughter was especially torn up about it. I tried removing the remains as quick as I could but was struggling and she took notice. Water works majorly. Asked the hard questions a 4 year old can’t understand like why do we get old, what happens when we die ect. Such is life.

Been a while since an update. I’ve refrained from buying any coral despite some great deals I’ve seen on here and elsewhere. Tank upgrade looking like maybe September? So I don’t want to buy something I’ll have to turn around and sell so soon. Gonna be hard enough keeping samples of all my favorites.

But. Here are some coral pictures none the less.

I think wwc sent the wrong one. It was labeled Greg hillers aqua delight. It’s in 450+ par, heavy flow, but looks absolutely nothing like any aqua delight I’ve seen. It’s got little skinny delicate branches and it’s kind of a brownie. Shape and color are way off.

I’m sure it’s in the feed, but what size are you upgrading to?

I’ve got an sca150 gallon in my garage I’ve been sitting on for a year unsure of what to do with and just a couple months ago decided I’d go ahead and set it up

Thank you so much. I honestly prefer daylight pictures. Those taken above were with blue LEDs running also so it looks pretty blue to my eyes. But my night time all blue period is only an hour or so. I have everything timed to where just the MH are on when I get home so I get to see the nice warm natural daylight colors first thing, and as the evening progresses I do an overlap of mh/led, and then just led for a short period before total dark.
