question jay.
if im dosing cupramine to my 2 clown fish that (hopefully) make it through this devastation to my tank. can i add fish to the quarantine tank after having these fish already started the dosing? if you understand what i mean lol. or does every fish need to be slowly edged on to copper?
I do that, and so do many dealers, BUT - since we aren't 100% sure exactly what was going on here, I wouldn't do it until all symptoms are gone on any fish in the QT, and then, remember, the QT clock resets to zero when you add new fish!

why need to test cooper after add?
The primary reason is to confirm you are at a full dose. Many people do not know the exact volume of their tanks. It helps then, to break the dose into halves; dose 1/2, test to confirm, then dose the second half and test and confirm. You also should test the tank weekly to ensure the copper isn’t dropping,
