There's a mantis on BZ that I really want, but I just can't do the shipping. I was wondering if anyone would group buy with me and split shipping costs, or if we get enough people, shipping is free on orders over $140. I'd like to order soon, but I need some folks to join me. Please and thank you.
The stuff would come here, and we could meet up somewhere. I'd need the money before ordering. ( I promise, I don't spam people. You would get your stuff! )

In a lot of cases, aquatic marine or coral reef can special order things with their normal orders, and give you the same or better price than what you would pay, even without paying shipping. It also keeps you from having any DOA problems to deal with.

Yeah, I have them both looking. AM is doubtful, and said that the price might be high, and CR isn't sure. Even if I just get 2 people to group buy with me, though, it would be the same ( or maybe cheaper ) price as ordering one in a LFS. It doesn't really matter to me how I get my mantis, just thought that some other people might see something they like and want to group buy.

Spencer, a lot of the times AM and CR can't get in the different types of mantis shrimp that some of these online places can. Plus a bunch of the online stores will take a photo of your exact mantis, which is definitely not something AM or CR vendors are gonna do. Steph did you see that one coming into Diver's Den tonight? It's one of those zebra mantids...pretty cool. Someone on RC's mantis forum got a pair of these from Diver's Den a while back.

I might but I'm waiting for what I'm interested in to go on sale. With Blue Zoo you've got to meet the minimum shipping as the shipping cost is already calculated into their prices. If it goes on sale I'll let you know.

Yeah, my sand bed is about 9" too shallow for one of those, lol. They are beautiful, but my tank is way underrated for one. Thanks for the heads-up, though.

Cee, I appreciate it!
