Wow, I can't believe its finally here! Special thanks to @Anirban for coming over to help move the stand. It was a pleasure meeting you, I am sure my noob self will have some questions for you :)

The tank moving I hired out though, it took all of 9 burly men to carry it (in the rain) around the house and through the folding/sliding doors.

Today working on the pluming and rinsing the 10 bags of Tropic Eden MiniFlakes!

This weekend saw some major progress! I plopped in the Marco rocks I had cooking in the basement (DEFINITELY NOT their final arrangement). Then I painted the bottom tank bracing white. Then I custom cut and loose fitted the gloss whie Ikea Ringhult cabinetry facing to the tank as it stood, and shimmed underneath them so they were perfectly level with the bottom tank trim. Next weekend I plan on getting underneath there and welding the hinges in place.

Also am trying to figure out the exact spacing of the Kessils now that the tank is actually here. I attached one I got for my invert qt to start gauging how high it should be to not blind you. The spread on these A360x's is so wide! Believe it or not, 4" above the water seems to be the height at which it all goes into the tank instead of the room.

My absolute favorite thing about this tank so far is seeing the water traverse 12' over the surface.

Great..looking awesome. Just measure the lights LED can penetrate much more than T5 so place the corals accordingly.:)

I think I would take a single piece of 40mm 8020 and suspend it by wires on either end and in the middle and put the kessil's on it.

Very minimal and unobtrusive and strong.

And it would be adjustable that way as well.

That's the general idea, but 40mm would be way larger than I would like. If you look at the post from the 5th of the kessils, they are mounted on a 19mm 6061 aluminum square that I ripped in half, with 3 points of support. The Kessils are surprisingly light, and 19mm was the smallest size that would fit everything. I realized I would like to have it covered on the top after the wiring is stuffed in. So this weekend I worked on that -- I started over and ripped another one so the walls were higher then used a milling machine to "chamfer" a groove on the inside wall of each side, and then milled a piece so it wold just fit in the groove. I plan to tap a few countersunk m3 screws to anchor the cover, and paint it all white.
