Hi,

I have purchased the 2L containers of Component A, B, and C. I have a heavily stocked SPS system and I am dosing a 2 part Calcium and Alkalinity supplement I have made myself. I ran a calcium reactor prior to dosing hence why I bought these products.

Is there any directions of these products to dose based on known Calcium consumption? The 25ml a week for 500 litres seems a bit vague, as it only assumes average coral planting, instead of a relative known stoichiometric dosage of calcium.

My system is consuming 17ppm of calcium a day, and it's equivalent stoichiometric alkalinity.

So, can you tell me exactly how much to dose based on this information? I have invested the money into this product without knowing this vital information, as I don't want to under, or overdose.

Regards,
Callan

Hi Callan,
It is hard to say how much your system will consume each of the element based on Ca consumption.Every system has different need. I would suggest start dosing them half the recommended dose and then after a month of observation increase dose accordingly.
