Hi Reefers,

I am making a new aquarium and want to know what would be the ideal eye pleasing backdrop for it, Black / White / Blue or Transparent backdrop? Please share with your images.

I voted black. It just creates more contrast and really makes the corals stand out better.

Is it possible to paint tank while running???
I'm sure it is if you're careful and have enough room between the tank and the wall. Youd have to use a roller, I wouldnt do any sort of spray paint with a running tank.

Black brings everything forward and makes the focal point fish and coral color

Yep, didn't have time to paint mine when I was setting up... had livestock sitting in buckets...
Improvise. I never paint. Next owner nay not like paint or the color. I buy Walmart construction paper in the stationary section at .92 each 30” x 30” and comes in colors and water resistant
