Do it Jimbo! Do it! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
I'm actually restocking after a bit of a crash at the beginning of Feb. The Lava Lamp never missed a beat. Almost lost the red but it's bounced back and Amazeballs has finally started extending in the last couple of weeks...thought it was a goner. I lost about half the corals and 8 of my 9 fish.

Here's the Lava Lamp now. Lived through about 20 hrs in oxygen deprived tank and never even retracted. It's about the size of a honeydew melon. I see he has one left on the site.

Oh boy! Didn’t realize you had a crash! Lava lamp just loves your systems. You were the one that saved it when I had my Goni mishap.

LOL...I was PRAYING the red survived...didn't want to have to come begging for another frag! :anxious-face-with-sweat:

Yeah, it was heartbreaking and had almost decided it was time for a break but seeing everything spring back to life I just couldn't.

so it's a bernardpora?
We get plenty of bernardpora and we’re no experts in varieties of goniopora but it doesn’t look like a bernadpora in person. More of a short Goni variety with the occasional longer polyps in the colony.

i'd betcha a dollar that it is. At least, it sure appears to be from the provided pics. Gorgeous piece either way though!

You sound pretty sure so I bet you’re right then! Thank you! It seems to be a decent grower for us and pretty hardy in general.
