Best way to clean a saltwater tank that is empy

What is the best way to clean a saltwater aquarium that was used and is rimless without hurting the glue. And is it ok to seal over a the glue to just make it not leak later on down the road and if so what glue/sealer

Just a wet and dry paper towel and a magic eraser are what i use to clean tanks.

A magic eraser will be your best friend while cleaning up a used tank. Plus it's not abrasive at all so you can really get in the corners to clean with it.
