I am about to few a few sets of these:

Anyone have other recommendations? There’s a lot to consider between brands, style, 8” vs 10”, manual pump vs electronic, etc.

these are used professionally used in the Glass business setting windows, IG's, Showers and Mirrors, Most trusted brand in the commercial industry

I tried finding these for sale, looks like $270 a piece in amazon? Or is that just third-party mark-up?

What’s the best way to prep “dirty” glass? Clean it with glass cleaner and dry with microfiber kind of thing?

Yeah, the best most of the time is the most expensive, these are not hobby grade or cheap import

I'd clean with rubbing alcohol and dry well

We used to rent them out to people with a deposit. Ideal time to stop by your local glass shop is Friday and return them on Monday, most glass shops don't work weekends. Offer them credit card deposit

I wouldn’t have thought to ask a glass shop, that’s an awesome idea

I use the same 10" imt ones you linked. Worked great moving my larger glass and acrylic tanks for the last few years.

Woods Powr Grip is the company that invented this style suction cup. I recently purchased 4 of these to move my tank 2 months ago and have been extremely pleased. They're still made in the USA.

On a previous move I used a cheaper alternative from Home Depot...long story short the tank slipped, fell, and cracked. Saving $200 cost me another $1500 in a new tank.

I now have these 4 and will be able to move tanks in the future without issue.

Not cheap, but what is with a big reef tank?
