Hey everyone! Setting up a 20 gallon long coral frag tank. (Has been cycled for a year and a half. Used to be my main reef tank. Upgraded to a 125) so I was wondering what the best fish for a frag tank are. Thx in advance!

(current stocking, 2 clowns and a lawnmower blenny)

Yellow corris will get 5 inches, but that might take a couple of years.

Yellow
Would a yellow corris work? Or to big for tank size. I have a 125 gallon as mentioned Once it gets larger

Yellow coris needs a bigger tank. Mine is 6 inches long. I think a 6 line is best, because it eats everything and doesn't need sand to sleep.

Ok thank you all! If you think of anything else let me know. My LFS doesn’t sell the pink streaks but does sell the 6 line. I heard they were bad tho
You’ll most likely have to ask a LFS to special order a pink streaked, as they aren’t as common. The nice thing about them is they stay a little smaller and a lot less aggressive than six-lines.

...its a coral frag tank. Lol
I agree it doesn’t matter if it’s the only fish in there, but going with a pink streaked gives them an option to move it to the DT at some point in the wrasse’s lifespan if desired, without aggression issues.

I've seen several LFS's use springeri damsels in frag tanks for pest control also.
I have one in every tank. . I found myself with flatworms in the frag tank and springari in there, Was not doing anything about it. Swapped it out with the one from the display and that thing Eats!!

My permanent residence, as I said are a springari and lawn mower blenny.
