start looking in the used sales pages for a 4ft Oceanic Tank. I have a 300g 8ft that is over 30yrs old.
Enjoy!

If they are lucky and patient they might find one! These aquariums are built like tanks!

I love mine so much mostly because I highly doubt I will ever be posting a Seam Failure about this tank. Not to mention the glass thickness used, I have 5/8ths thick sides and a 3/4inch thick bottom. PLUS back then they did not use thin Tempered Glass to save on cost and they for really generous with the Silicone used to seal the seams. Notable feature of Oceanic is the massive glass center brace on their tanks and the globs of silicone used.

Pic of the center brace and my DIY amazon Screen kits I made to keep my wrasses in the water :)
Before ya ask, that small pvc sticking up is a DIY frozen feed tube.

I was just looking at your post about how you bought it for $600!
ya, that took a little work, 3 weeks of the guy that had it not getting any bids at $1000. I admit I lowballed him and I feel a little guilty about it now, but not enough to return his tank. :)

I have a CDA, with the Wooden Cabinet Stand, also I saw a newer CDA, with the T-Slot Stand. I think either one of these Aquariums, would likely survive an earthquake. Mine was bought used, it has an Internal Overflow, with Three Holes. I have twin Durso’s. A Return that splits into to Return Nozzles. Also there are two Factory Drilled holes in the back, for two more returns. I run two Simplicity 1600 Pumps, on two different circuits, for my return pumps. I’ve run both at full speed, and the Overflow Handled the water, a bit noisy but it worked. I do throttle back. They offer an external Overflow.
