Hey do you have any in stock, plz let me know I'm in Houston. Thank you
Hey there. Thank you for your interest. I am unfortunately still out of stock and probably won’t be ready for at least 6 months.

I’m currently working on expanding my Aiptasia farm and it takes them quite a while to reach a point of sustainability; believe it or not haha.

I will report back on this thread when available.

Appreciate the thought. Please don't wait for the aiptasia problem to get worst if you have another supplier. I am still months away although the farm tanks are coming along albeit at a slower pace than I'd like.

This would be my first time purchasing BN. Any suggestions on who to buy from? I hate to pay shipping fees but I will if need be.

You might try asking in a local Facebook group called "Major League Reefers".

I have done satisfactory businesses with the following online vendors: Salty Underground; Reef Town.

Hope this helps.

Hi do you have any berghia’s available??
Hey there, Thank you for asking. I’m currently seeing many 1/16” juveniles in my culture. 1/2” - 3/4” adults should be ready to go in a week or two. If you like, I can notify you when they are available.

I’ve decided not to offer 1/4” juveniles anymore since there is at least a two weeks lag for them to begin reproducing compared to the adults. So it gives the perception that they aren’t working. Chances are they also don’t survive quite as well in display tanks with higher flow and predation.

Good for you, I strongly agree with this position. Egg laying adults are a better product for the buyer. Less delay, and less chance of failure as the adults will lay eggs soon after being added-the buyer is not dependent on a small number of purchased juvenile berghia surviving for a few weeks in their display, then finding each other to mate, and then laying eggs. With egg laying adults, even if a few suffer mishaps over time (pump intakes, predators, whatever), the buyer still has a reasonable chance of success since they have already laid eggs anyway.

It is possible to produce many more 1/4” juvenile berghia than 1/2” adults, since the main limitation is growing aiptasia to feed them. However egg laying adults are a better option, unless the buyer is planning to grow the berghia out themselves in a dedicated system.

Sorry for the thread hijack, GLWS.
