That is awsome. Mine just enjoys looking at the different critters and all the colors and types of corals. And she retains and remembers things better than I can so will be helpful lol.
Mine is in charge of naming the fish, she also likes all the colors (that is probably a women's thing). She's not a "reefer" but she's knows enough to be aware of the major components like what is the purpose of the skimmer, the chaeto reactor or the UV sterilizer.

Now it was time to add water and get the tank rolling.

Congrats on the new wife. I got an new wife too, best thing I ever did. SOOOOO much better than the old one...

That's great. I was married but she wasn't a wife lol and I don't even really consider last one a marriage. I have never owned a home so this is first new. So same aspect for wife. But at least the title is an attention grabber ROFL. Some people want the title and not the responsibilities of being married.

This is cool, i wanted to use a dispenser like that for my pico but opted out of it. I didnt notice a heater? Can we see a pic of the light in the shade i really like the look and how you have everything looking like it belongs vs just a tank in a room.

No heater. I love in florida. And keep the house about 76. I have never used a heater here. But in some places it is necessary. I don't have the shade yet and will be picking up old tank and corals with light today. I'm hoping to at least mount the prime today so I can get that situated. Hopefully the shade will be here next week
Thank you, I'll have to take a pic once it's in of the full room shot to show how it blends in. Will be a week or 2.

This is going to be so “frickin” cool! Can’t wait to see it finished.
Thank you.

It "should" be mostly done tonight. I still have to plan out hanging the light, ensure the corals fit and I can pull rock work out with ease once glued. I am still waiting for the shade that will go over the prime and then get shelving up. Also need to see about finding an eheim 100 to test out. But I'm excited as well.

Well I was able to load up the corals into the container and head back to the house with light and equipment. One nice thing about pico tanks.

So I was able to successfully mount the light and get the tank setup. I couldn't keep all the corals but now have room for some new ones. Had to move the kleet as well and will try and mount shelves to the wall this week.

Now just have to wait for the light shade to get here and figure out hanging it on the prime.

So today I took the rest of the corals to the mad Reefer. And picked up a clam a hammer and also fritz bacteria. Build is almost done. Just waiting on the shade as I just finished putting shelves on the wall. Just some tidying up also to do with cords on floor and pump mounting. May switch out for Eheim 100.

So now a new problem has appeared. The copper shade holds heat in and causes the prime hd to over heat. So need to come up with a solution or it gives me an excuse for a different light. :p

More vent holes on the shade
Problem is I really like the copper the way it looks. Drilling the holes will have to be strategic and done in a way that doesn't look bad. I have thought about mounting a second fan inside above prime to help pull in cooler air from below and vent out to assist. But drilling is definitely an option. I guess I didn't think the size or function through.
