GeniusI have been “aggressively sampling” some bourbon this evening watching some sports. During half time I had an idea. I want to train a machine learning model that will generate coral names. The first one would be rather primitive, but would allow you to type a few general descriptive words like “orange euphyllia glabrescens” and would generate a new name for the coral like “Sunkist Inferno Torch”.
the second would be a bit more sophisticated and you would be able to input a picture of a coral and the algorithm would look at it, create a classification, and a name. Like say inputting a picture of a dark purple indo torch that fades to a yellowish orange with bright pink tips and it would recognize the coral as a torch and the colors and spit out a name like “JKcorals Buffy’s Exorcism Torch”
my family was intrigued but not entirely persuaded. But I still think it’s s good idea.
Goniopora I beliveWhat’s the coral in the bottom right?
